Facebook Javascript API Requires IE to be in Protected Mode
I have a small webpage using the Facebook Javascript API. Why does the API
not work in Internet Explorer if Enable Protected Mode is turned off for
the zone you are in? getLoginStatus always returns unknown and FB.login
displays a blank window if Protected Mode is off. I have the channelURL
set up although it does not seem to be using it as there are no references
to it in my server logs.
My web page works fine in FF, Chrome, and in a Facebook tab but only works
as a standalone page in IE if Enable Protected Mode is on.
I have been using IE9 but had somebody test IE10 with the same results.
